Searching for an FJ45 troopy to add to the fleet. Would prefer softtop but not overly picky. Looking for “driver” quality, not a project but no show queens either. Powertrain isn’t really important. Not afraid of a little rust, but again not looking for a full on project.
Only interested in LHD

Let me know what you’ve got! Looking for something in the $20k +/- range.

For Sale Thread '1984 hj47 for sale'

I have a 1984 hj47 for sale $15k. The engine has been rebuilt and installed. Not running it needs a starter and some love been sitting due to the shop where it is at losing help. The 47 was imported from Australia with a clean NC title it has a 5 speed transmission in it. The body is rusted but I have most of the new body parts needed. The back is full of fenders quarter panels window gaskets the sliding window rebuild kits floor panels all kinds of stuff probably 10k in parts in the back wait to be installed.

Have had this troopy now for about 10 years. It was imported from Australia to New jersey, sold a couple times and somehow ended up down the road at my neighbors house! So, no papers, no title, but it was registered in New Jersey at some point. I’m pretty sure the seller is talking to another member of RS and MUD. This member reached out to me several weeks ago after the RS meeting where I met him and his dad. I gave him all the 45 Troopy for sale ads that I knew about at that time.

I’m curious about what @edmond4822 has….I know he had a nice ‘83 Troopy for sale earlier this year.

from previous posts, @edmond4822 always has nice looking stuff, if it isn't in the country, pretty sure he can find it

@Unimogguy, I have a 1982 troopy which I have not post for sale yet, just got its title a week ago.
