FJ43 frame from FJ40.

Hi!

Is anyone made FJ43 frame from FJ40?
Few ideas: FJ43 is much more interesting for collecting,

Turning a collectible into a truck with no matching title doesn't sound very interestng to me.

Hey Al, there are some good threads on stretching an FJ40 in the Hardcore section here on MUD.

I'm sure there are more good threads if you spend some time digging around down there. My personal opinion is that FJ43 tub length is best as it makes the aftermarket FST options an easy move, but I would push the rear axle further back to match the rear overhang/proportions of the FJ40. Gives the best look by far.

I think this truck below was stretched only 10", it's my favorite custom build by far, the proportions are absolutely perfect, but there is no "build thread" on it. It was built by a team of fabricators in Idaho, with McIver Custom Fabrication doing most of the metal fab.
