I had a peice cut at my local glass shop years ago for $150 installed.

Do you have the original glass for a pattern?

Have the original but no one around here cuts windshield glass. I never checked on original pricing, I'll look into that.***New from Toyota is $320...ouch!

Speedy auto glass did mine a couple weeks ago for $125 ish. Left him the frame, he made a template and cut the glass.

No speedy auto glass around here unfortunately. To bad the top wiper glass doesn't fit, I found a parts 40 on c-list here in Ohio.

I'm sending a whole windshield with glass to Columbus this week.
If it makes it there without getting broke he might want to sell the glass he has.

Could you ask him to get ahold of me if he wants to get rid of the glass please.

thanks,
Troy

Are you sure no autoglass shops around there cut windshield glass? I've never heard of a windshield shop not cutting windshield glass.

Well in my county there is no "windshield" shop period. All the body shops use glass shops from bigger citys and I haven't got any of them to even give a quote. I do have a lead on a possible one in Columbus and if that doesn't pan out I think I'll get ahold of cruiser parts.net

He said it wouldn't be till spring before he will get to putting the glass back in. He wants to keep a spare in case of breakage.

Sorry

Thats ok thanks for trying.

There's got to be a ton of them in Fort Wayne and Toledo

Ordered a windshield from cruiserparts.net today and an OEM gasket from cruiser outfitters. Hopefully I can get the windshield frame blasted and fix a few spots on it then get the new(used) windshield put in within the next few weeks.
