Junky, In post #14 snaggletto ask what springs you are using. In post #20 you stated you got them from Marks Off Road. The part number shown on the springs in post #71 shown the springs to be Downey Off Road Mfg 4" lift springs (sold to Mark). What's so great about those springs is they are genuine NHK's (factory who makes Toyota's springs), none finer on the planet, and they have many features that will let them live a long life- - -good on you for getting them.
Thanks sproggy. I'm looking forward to getting the top made, detailing some things and driving it.
Anyone got 8 of these windshield-wire/tube clips they'd be willing to part with?View attachment 1497547

I could use your professional opinion on recaulking a few windows on the new office. Sash windows were changed for dual-glazed vinyl sliders about five years ago. The caulk is already shot. Hoping to reseal and paint this week. LMK.
I've got a hospital visit tomorrow morning and then off to Burbank Paint and SOR afterwards. I'll give you a call when I get into Burbank. Probably around 10-11:00.
Great looking 40! Can/will you tell me how to replicate that steering wheel and horn button please sir? I have a '75 with a sun rot steering wheel.
