Wanted FJ40 FJ45 1976 - 1984 OEM Windshield (1 Viewer)

Looking for a new (NOS) Windshield to fit a 1983 FJ45 Troopy. Interchanges with FJ40 and FJ43 models from 1976 to 1984 (as far as I can tell from the diagrams).

Part numbers are 56111-90301 or 56111-90303.

Not sure if you're in USA or KSA, but there's 2 basic OEM choices for windshield glass: 5mm thick tempered or 6.7mm laminated, in two flavors: clear or tinted. Your search for the laminated should also include 56111-90800.

In the past I was able to get some cool non-OEM laminated with an upper dark green tinted band from Saudi Arabia. Are you able to scout around if in the Kingdom?

Yes here are the 4 numbers but it appears that the 5mm wasn't very common. I have checked with the largest dealer as well as a few smaller places that often have NOS parts. I haven't come up with anything yet. The glass in mine is non-OEM and fine. I was just leaning toward a factory close refresh and thus my desire to have the OEM glass. When I search 56111-90800 it always points me back to one of these other 4 numbers. I'm not a parts expert by any means so I'm not sure what that means. Is that like a late supersession for the FJ40?

Edit: I'm in KSA at the moment.

Did some further digging and 56111-90800 comes up as an option (along with 56111-90301) in 3 of these models. Description looks just like 56111-90301 so not sure the difference.

Not trying to dissuade your quest for authenticity, but unless you physically go pick it up, many if not most companies selling large glass refuse to ship it due to potential breakage--but you might get lucky. Any chance you can put out a request to some of your local shops, maybe a small finder's fee? Good luck to you.

Well I'm also on a windshield, glass, quest. My 71fj40 will except 70 to 75 glass, don't quote me on that, but i also received a quote for $130 for an auto glass shop to cut one. I would like to Have a OEM glass but my hopes and dreams are fading. Maybe that Toyota Gazoo program will get some made for us, we can only hope.

I'm in Saudi Arabia right now which is normally no problem but sometimes calls act a bit odd. It would ring a few times and disconnect.
