If anyone that was involved in this there is a new one starting next week at Cape Flattery in Washington State with the hopes of it making it to Key West after visiting the southwest corner of the US and then maybe to New England and back to me. It would be cool to maybe pick up the original batons and bring them along for the ride. Last I heard the briefcase was in Utah and the toolbox was in eastern Canada. Open to all Land Cruisers this time with as much FJ40 participation as possible.

I'm new to this, but love the idea.
I could pick it up in New England. I could possibly retrieve the one in Eastern Canada, if someone could get it state side in Vermont or NH.

I'm not crazy about driving my 40 long distances during New England salty winters, but I'm always up for an adventure!

Can confirm the tan toolbox is in Bozeman MT. I almost chucked it after no takers at CM22.

Would LOVE to get rid of it asap…

Funny enough, I'm headed to Bozeman Montana and then back to the Seattle area on the 22nd or 23rd. Let me know if anyone wants me to pick it up and bring it back to Seattle to start the expedition.
Yes please or to chehalis

Any idea who has it in Utah? I'd love to take it to the museum for a visit :D
Hey Kurt, would the museum have space for the briefcase to make it's final stop there? It's got a lot of history and it'd be amazing to see the original baton land in the museum...

Might be a question better suited for @cruiserdan

I’m certainly happy to discuss it with the BOD. Sounds neat to me, particularly if someone would be willing to type up a brief narrative of the briefcases adventures so visitors can enjoy the history.

Cruiseroutfit, can you get someone to meet DSRTRDR and then finish the leg to the museum?

DSRTRDR is in Phoenix now and willing to travel in either direction to move the briefcase. Maybe DSRTRDR is willing to contact Honger for pickup?

Ah yes, I knew DSRTRDR is in the Phoenix area, I didn’t know if I missed a briefcase on the move. I’ll be in Phoenix in a month. I could grab it, take it to the Baja 1000 with us and then get it to the museum.

Wow, if somehow you could get your hands on the one I am sending to the four corners of the US and take it south that would be great.

And may one of these cruiserheads be heading east after that.......

Now we're talking! Briefcase is already in the Phoenix area. I'd be happy to hand off to you Kurt and the Baja seems like a logical stop for the OG baton.

Perfect
