I've come across 2 of these in the past... both came from TLC in Cali.. beyond that I dunno.....

Clardy was in Fort Worth. I have one of these units sitting in my shop I forgot about. Seems like they were out of business, and then revived (maybe as old air products) If I remember correctly, this unit has a dual squirrel cage fan, and blows hard as hell, the best volume amoung the aftermarket units. I don't think there are parts available, I researched this years ago, and came up with the successor business, just don't remember the name for sure. Assuming the under dash part works and has no leaks, the rest is just mathematics for sizing the right compressor and condensor/drier set up.

Kind of like this one. I still have it in the box. May one day restore it and put it back in. It's 100 today here.

Says Customized for Toyota on the front controls.

It looks like an updated version of the 79fj40 style sold as a dealer installed option by Toyota. It is not factory, oem, nippon-denso. It looks like the unit made by Customatic of Ft Worth, TX. Look very closely on the plastic cover plate that houses the two control knobs--it should have the trade name on it. If it is the dealer installed a/c kit, it also comes with a larger radiator, different fan shroud, and probably has a borg-warner, piston-type compressor with the worst excuse for a compressor mount ever made, which also relocates the alternator. The evaporator unit replaces the factory duct, as it spans from the firewall blower and plugs into the top of the heater box, while also replacing the original heater box plastic louver.

I took mine out years ago and threw it away.
