With all the PM's I have sent and not a single returned call or PM it will be with a heavy hart that on Saturday I will load the tub and windshield frame and rear axle on the trailer and by June 2 there will be one less good condition TLC tub resting around waiting for a motivated owner to restore it. Well all is not lost. I picked up the tub a couple of months ago. The vin does say that it is a fj25 but I too have my questions about it. I'll post some pictures and the vin soon

Glad you saved it. That tub really is better than anything around these parts.

Curious on the VIN also, but all the features (beside the wheelwells) say FJ40.

The fj25 tub

Well i'm guilty of being a little slow on the whole picture thing.
Well at least I was quick to pick it up before it went to the scrapper!
I still have it and I even talked to Fjnotcj about a bezel as it came with a 72 fj40 bezel not the fj25 bezel and I was suppose to take pictures then .
I am unclear even how to post pictures on mud but in the next couple of weeks I'll have a buddy come over and show me how. Meanwhile I hope everyone on the 25 board has a few and hang on i'll send some pictures soon!

Thanks for understanding about the slow moving on the pictures no offense taken. I also wanted to say that no I am not a dumb ass!! I do realize that I said fj25 bezel in my last post! I know, I know, who needs stinking bezels!
Thanks for inquiring about the tub and I promise you haven't heard the last about the $300 Fj 25 tub.
