This was bought for a parts rig but after a closer look this cruiser needs to be put back on the road again, it already has had a close call with the metal salvage yard. History is that it was last licenced in 1987 was taken apart for body work and another paint job,engine disassembled and not put back together, also has another f120 engine disassembled and not reassembled. Then it sat and never got any attention. Looks like it had a hard life as a ranch vehicle, might have rolled due to the missing stock windshield frame and some dents everyware,BUT the sheetmetal is in very workable condition, does not need rust repair or panel replacement from rust just needs media blast then metal straightning and body work. I had a 1965 FJ40 windshield and hood laying around so now it comes with the 25. Tail gate in great condition, dents but no rust through, worst spot is the floor of the toolbox, and it does not need to be replaced. has front seat frames, gas tank with straps, instrument cluster with speedo cable, I had an extra tool box lid and now this 25 has one. engines are total basket cases and rusty, but the matching F120 block is here. Stock axles non stock wheels and tires, perfect front and rear drivelines, 4-speed tranny and transfercase was left open has rust on the gears and some wasp mud nests but does spin. Some parts are missing but this would be an excellant project for someone to own a piece of Toyota history, and get one of the oldest Toyota's back on the road. Price isSOLDor best offer. This is going to be a Great Project for someone. I spoke with John yesterday and have to pass on this one. This Cruiser is so complete and it would be Awsome to see it back on the road. To sweeten the deal for another 300.00 I would be willing to throw in this complete running motor, bellhousing and 3 speed trans. Comes with large window Carb and orginal small oil bath air cleaner. It needs cleaning inside and out and this would be a good start for the power plant. Located in So Cal but could deliver to the Stockton Swap Meet or make other arrangements
If you act now and Buy Johns Cruiser I will drop the price of the motor 300.00​

Last time I checked, it was around 1500 or 1800 to bring a non runner up to Champlain New York...not bad considering it means bring home a cruiser with a LOT less rust ;)
 
Still FOR SALE Land Cruiser lovers, to reiterate, this is one of the FIRST FJ25 TOYOTA LAND CRUISER'S ever built, and YOU can have the pleasure of restoring her,or him (I still can't tell the differance) to it's glory when new. Just think when driving down the street, you will notice that everyone will look and then Bow in respect for you're work of art, plus you will be asked all the time, "That's a cool rig, where did you get it?" You can answer with, " I bought it from John Pardi and Tom Binns as a project and rebiilt it MYSELF. Yes, "a diamond in the rough" Time to step up and be the one to own a piece (very rare piece of TOYOTA history. This has not been offered on E-BAY or any other other classified's yet, we whole hearttedly believe the true LAND CRUISER lovers hang out here. Thank's, as they say on the East coast, "I'd hate to take it to the crusher". (which we would NEVER do.) I hope it finds a good home, as it would be a dream project to restore seeing as all the bits, and original engine are there...plus the price is very decent!

I wish...it is not a matter IF I wanted to get this home, it is a matter of HOW with my cash flow being so tight right now :frown:
