Thanks, those are for 2 other 40s being restored at the cruiser restoration shop I purchased the truck from.
I know this fj45. Was acquired out Bend, OR about 15 months ago. I passed on it as I had 2 45s already.
Did you check out my trucks at his shop? I own the Yellow ‘63 and Cement Gray ‘65

Yes I purchased it from Scott this week and got a tour of his shop while I was there. Your Cement Gray 45 was my favorite build. There’s your yellow 63’ in the background as well.

Scott does magnificent work. An artist. Had a few pics to share as well. First class restoration work. Anyone looking to get it done right like it came from the factory or better, Scott is your guy.

Scott is by far the most gifted metal worker I have found. If you need any work done he is well worth the wait.

he did a decent amount of work on your ‘45 too!! Glad it found a good home! Enjoy them. Also, the new rear window seals just got fitted in my yellow truck and they will be available to purchase shortly so keep that in mind for your sliders.

Looks like the ink from the Susanville Toyota Dealership receipt in the glovebox is still wet.

Wow. What’s the story?
Been in the family 50 years, I've had and driven it for 18 years now, its a good running truck, use it to go hunting and run around town. Its not a perfect show rig just a great example of a cruiser. Love driving it and had a lot of fun and great memories over the years with it.

Does “awaiting a new home” mean it’s for sale?
Yeah its listed on here forsale. I have it at 40k, it hurts to sell but if someone wants it more than me I feel its a fair. It does t get driven a ton as we are a family of 5 so the pig, 60 and 40 get driven more often. As we can get in them.

Great 45 for someone. Known Mason for years and this truck has a ton of work done to it!

That's 2 in front of mine. Came off the same boat. 2 FJ45 12020

Yeah my guess would be one of the first shipments that came to the states. Would be cool to find out. The other one on the registry is 4 ahead of. For the longest time mine was the earliest. Where was or is yours located?

Yea I see that now. If I didn’t already have two SWB’s this would be really interesting. Someone needs to buy this thing and really do it up.

12018 and 12020 aren’t on the registry.

And speaking of the list, it looks like 12xxx correlates to ‘62, and 13xxx sort of correlates to ‘63, at least starts with the ‘63s, but then there are ’64s listed in the 13xxx’s. So theory of year and VIN tracking with the second digit falls apart. Also, there are no 14xxx’s, jumps from 13xxx to 15xxx.

on edit: 😂 never mind there really isn’t much of any correlation in the registry numbers except they generally get bigger with age 😝
