my old man is a walking rule book and golf historian................ we have a room at our house dedeicated to nothing but golf wall to wall wood club dating back into the 1700s, so we got the rulings part covered ;)

and yes alcohol is allowed and encourage; its "motion lotion" for the golf swing :D

I plan on getting in atleast one round this weekend and hitting the driving range up a few times between now and the 6th; I have to give Alan a run for his money

I don't think carts have lockers but we can fix one up for the event...OME, Spring reversal..we may need to get into those rough spots. Perhaps a snorkel would be appropriate! :grinpimp: :flipoff2:

You Gotta Pay to CHEAT

Who wants to play Mulligans for Money???

That's right, if you want a Mulligan you'll have to pay for it (who ever said Southern boys play fair??). $2 bucks per mulligan.

But wait...there's more:

We will also have a raffle for a yet undisclosed piece of cool cruising equipment plus other prizes!! Best Team? Who needs badges? We dun need no steenkin' badges. So get the word out to your spouses, girlfriends and friends. The more the better!!

Wish I could join you guys but I gave up golf a couple years ago. For some reason I was better at the drinking  that at playing golf. :D If somebody needs a caddy I could caddy a couple folks around in the 100 series.

Sorry for the delay fellas I didn't want to post up all the details until we have "set tee times" and not being a member of the Walker Course I can only reserve tee times one week in advance. So this Sunday once we have everything secured I will post up..........

We Are On!!!!!!

Well guys and gals it is time to dust off the old clubs hidden away in the garge and go hit the practice range because it is less than one week until the Cruiser Classic!!!!!!!!!

We have secured the tee times of 12:00, 12:10, 12:20, and 12:30 on this coming Sunday Nov. 6th at the beautiful Walker Course located in Clemson. I would encourage eveyone to be there around 11 am to get checked in and take advantage of the driving range and putting green so that your skills will be honed in :D

The green fees here at the Walker Course are 50 dollars for 18 holes of golf and they even throw in a golf cart ;p to sweeten the deal . There will also be a nominal fee of $5 dollars to cover the clubs costs of trophies and prizes.

Okay here is the break down for how the tournament is going to be done. We will be competing in 4 man teams in a "Best Ball" format. Depending on turnout we will either have 3 or 4 teams. We will be selling mulligans at the price of $5 a piece with a limit of 6 per team to raise some money for the club and to help you hackers have a fighting chance :grinpimp: . Obviously lowest overall team score wins and the winners will recieve a medal and a nice C-gar  for thier efforts. We will also have prizes for the longest drive and for the closet to the pin.

Out side of the tournament we will have door prizes raffled off and also will be auctioning off a pair of handy Cobra 10-mile range, hands free radio with chaging cradle and microphones to raise funds for the club.

The weather forecast for this weekend looks great so bring a golfing buddy and come be apart of the first ever Upstate Cruisers Classic!!!!!!! See you guys on the T-Box.
