Here's a pic of the rims painted. I think they look dang good.

The rear diff cover after Devin cut the bottom off and modified it to fit the shaved rear end.
You can also see some of the brake lines that had to be bent and the trussing on the 14 bolt.

Crazy brake lines.

More of the truss and bumpstops.

And the beginning of the skid plate for the tranny and oilpan.

And now for the ones we've all been waiting for:

Coming off the jig:

Sitting at full bump: 21.5 inches to the bottom of the frame.

Flexing a little:

And a poser shot with Bailey:

Ride height will be 2-3 inches higher than full bump. I was running around squealing like a little girl. Only going to be able to run 14 inch travel shocks up front instead of 16 like in the rear.

looks good, i bet you turn it over inside 10 minutes on the first trail:grinpimp:

I ain't taking that bet. What are you doing up so early?

Grandma is on vacation, so I been answerin the phone at Baker Tire till Friday, then I'm goin back into retirement:beer:

Our little Colorado trip slowed us down, but we're back and doing some work to her. Got some shock hoops and shocks on her!!!

Got the bumpstops done:
They got some pretty little holes in 'em

They tighten with a spanner wrench.

And my hood ornament:

Well Devin and his whole family have been sick, but I got a phone call yesterday morning asking where the hell I was so I hightailed it over and we started stripping out the rest of the interior:

Got it all stripped out and Devin broke out the plasma:

and the baby die grinder:

And then we threw it on the frame:

These are all at ride hieght. Bottom of the frame is 25 1/2" and top of the truck is ~77". When the exo is on it should still fit in the garage(if Ardenne will grant m enough space)!!!
We've got lots of sheet metal work to do to to skin out the bed area and fab up a dash.
:bounce::bounce2::D

Looks real nice, real nice!

Hurry up, and bring it to Hot Springs next month for the test run. It looks dang good.

Got some more done today. When we mounted the body back on we had to trim the rear fenders way back to the rear most body mount. This left us with part of the factory fender flare still on the front of the wheel well opening. We had to do something since this looked really bad.

P9140014.jpg

Devin decided to just fab up some body panels and made some samples while I was at the station yesterday. When I saw what he had come up with I was pleasantly suprised. I had thought that we would have to make some ghetto looking crap. Guess not. We cut the old stuff out and got after it.

P9140012.jpg

There are like eight different bends on each panel.

We cut the radius and then we had to fill in the fuel door hole since the tank is moving and grind it all down. A little filler and it should look good:

Now we need to do the other side. No fuel door and we already have the panel made so it should go faster!

Bite me mexican midget.
