I know what they are. I meant roller top? Normal drawers? Etc.

Normal drawers.

I can say that ARB shipping is stupid. $140 for two drawers and $65 for a snorkel to my Dealer.

Wonder what it would cost to east coast.

Recovered my covers again white the panels were off.

My camp lighting hasn't been wired Permanently and while I have my panels out in the rear I thought it was a great idea to wire them up through the rear hatch wiring boot.

When are the 100 series gun rack mounts coming out?

It's not a rack per say. But it's a place to put your long guns.

Found this black box up in the 1/4 panel above the tail light. It was held in place by adhesive tape. So I removed it and its 15amp tail light convertor. This is odd to me.

Got the drawers in. Love them! Now it's a month wait for a non AC fit kit.

Very surprised just how much you can stuff in there!

You can fit 5 long guns without any issues in one drawer. And still room for soft bags.

I also ran 8awg and some 12ga wire from the rear along the pass side following the harness, behind the kick plate and out through the boot behind the aux battery.

I also replaced one of my ballasts for my HID's and learned the hard way not to pull the harness apart while the lights are one. That knocks me on my ass and I got to see my finger glow.

Then I put an ounce of Downey in my PS.

I was on a roll tonight, so I built a harness for my camp lights that sit under the corners of the rack giving light under the awning camping.

Notorious for failing on the 99s. I had to replace them on both of mine....cheap Autozone unit far exceeds the Toyota part on this...after a ton of research on Mud.

She is clean,....

Shane,

I'll be using many of these techniques to do a deep spring clean on my '00.

One question, seeing these pics of mirrors and the antenna and related rubber gaskets and trim makes me curious as to how you cleaned the nearby rubber pieces? Mine around door handles, the antenna, etc are leaching blackness on the surrounding paint (white).

I washed the whole truck in hot water with dawn soap and soft brush. Then used Castrol Super Clean around all the black rubber and plastic trim, getting all the residue and green growth. Then I soaked all the trim with an oil based dressing from your commercial detailer supply store. Let it sit in the sun for a few days ans the plastic and rubber will rehydrate and soak up the oils. Then I wash again, use clay magic on the body color. Wax very well.

Those drawers are really something!

They are far superior than I ever thought. I was contemplating designing some, but for the $$$ they just cant be beat.

The only thing is that they are a storage drawers, and not a locker or safe. You could get into them quickly with a pry bar. If the lock and lower support were designed for superior strength, it would be another lover of cool.

They are not that hard to design/make. I'm in the process of having a metal drawer system fabricated and made with a integrated top fridge slide. I'm using my own home brew bearing system similar to outback. I also have a secure latching system that will be difficult to penetrate for the drawers.

If you have money to spend, then you are right, you can't beat the Outback drawer system. For those who are DIY, I encourage you to build your own metal drawers.

I didn't really have the $$ but it saved me a lot of $$ with trial and error. Noah is building a slider for his fridge and he found the best lock open and lock closed sliders I've seen. His handle is 1973guppie I think. Find his thread and check those out. As far as handles, I bought the 1/4 turn ones that Slee uses. Best I've seen.
