I like that they appear to be DOT approved. Have them measure the 5th line (center of rear axle) and see if it is any longer than stock. If not, order it 2-3" or so longer to accommodate longer shocks.

As for the auto switches, LandPimp tried to fit the LX switch into his LC awhile back but the connectors were totally different. There's a thread on it. (LXFTW).
 
I have the Goodridge G-Stop Brake Lines. The ones they have for 100s did not fit, returned them to Goodridge and they changed the ends so they would work. Don't know if they have changed the design that was back in Jan.

Repacked front outer bearings for no reason other than I had them apart to adjust pre load of the bearings and replace the claw washers as one had a groove in it. +

Ordering the Diff Drop from Slee, and wondering on tire fitment, I have read many sizes. What you say?

Don't need the biggest, just need no rubbing issues and overall good stance.
 
absolutely can't go wrong with the usual 285/75/16s, just pick your poison on tread type. I love my new tundra 18s though.
 
I'd go with 285's for a good stance and no rubbing.

FYI- 295's rub very very slightly at full lock, you really can't tell though, only from looking at the frame can you tell they slightly touch. But since you said no rubbing, ignore what I just typed.

Good thinking on the bearing check and claw washers, that will save you some aggravation later. I assume you also replaced the lock washers?

Like Loud says, the 285/75/R16's are great. I have about 90k on my BFG's and plan to replace with the same tire before CM-10. The 295's are bigger but used emergency replacements are harder to come by.

I agree with the 285s. I opted for Cooper STs this time around and although they are a bit noisier than the Toyo ATs, they do look awesome and grip something fierce! Getting ready to really have some fun, since we are now getting snow.

Sweet. So BFG's? I say this as it's the only tire I run on the 40's and other than Good Year Wranglers on my SC that is all I have in personal experience on 4x4 tires.

Yes the Lock washer as well, I just walked next door to Toyota and picked them up.

Really 90k on a set of tires? Like 90,000 miles not KM's?

Toyo's seem to come up often, also remember the desert is all the hard running these will have other than snow.
 
I liked my BFG A/Ts in the snow much more then my new Toyo M/Ts. They also were taking forever to wearout so I sold them to another 'mudder. (I wanted bigger) Go on my facebook, you should see a few good shots of where the BFGs have taken me. I will say I was the ONLY truck slicing and dicing thru terrible snow conditions on I-70 in Colorado. Doing it so effortlessly my friends were spooked out. Maybe it was the 5 heavy college guys with all our snow gear in a 6200lb curb weight truck...maybe it was the tires. Both? Probably.

The BFGs are also extremely common, allowing for easy replacement.
 
I would consider the Bridgestone Dueler AT Revo 2.

I ran my first set (Gen 1) about 60k with good tread left just not enough for great winter performance. Competent in the snow, very good on the trail, great on the road. I was happy with it so I stayed with it for my next set.

The 285s will last a long time since they turn fewer times each mile.

It was exactly what I was looking for, a virgin that I could knock the bottom out of.
 
Goodyear MT/R Kevlar if you need a fantastic MT type tire. I'd buy them again...which is the first set of tires I can honestly say that about :rolleyes:.

I don't want to hear tire and nothing else, after the lift I got a little more ride stiffness than I wanted but the more I drive it the better I love it. So going with a MT I am not sure if I want to go that route. Good Year MT/R Kevlar

:flipoff2: I do like the snow, every one else is crying about it and I am out in it playing. He had a bad storm here back in 2001 and I had a Defender 90 I had more fun that week running everyplace locked up and yes I had BFG's BFG's on a D-90
