I used the NVX stealth. I didn’t want all the lettering wrapping the enclosure even though you’ll never see it. Covered every square inch of sub enclosure and all of the body panel directly behind it.

Quick update. New sub seems to have broken in nice. I am extremely impressed with the sound without the extra amplification. I am going to go through with ordering the sound deadening material, some polyfil, and the LC2i, but will likely wait until it's warmer to install all of it and the Amp.

what's behind the panel on the opposite side of the vehicle?

Aircon. LX570 AHC computer. 100W inverter. Ducting.

under the drive/passenger seat is the only spot where amps can be installed?

Depends on the amps. There are some micro amps that people are mounting in the cubby on the passenger rear corner. There are a couple of installs on this thread.
That's what I'm going to do. The amp I got is a 500w mono, and is 3"x3". Unreal!

I've got an Audio Control LC2i ordered and plan to connect it to an external amp and sub in my 2008 LX570. Where is the best place to intercept the signal to feed the LC2i -- the F18 plug under the driver's seat? If so what wire colors or pin numbers would I use?

Thanks!

I just ordered on as well. I was planning on grabbing the subwoofers signal at the back. The LCI2 can handle the high lever power, and that seems like the easiest spot. Someone else may chime in though... I do not know yet where I’ll tap 12volt for it though

Pin 1 and 6 on F3 is the sub out from the amp. They are White and Black. Should be the same as back at the sub.

Good news! It you don’t use your 3rd row, there is an always on 30A there to power the seat motor. It is ripe for sub use. Otherwise you’ll need to do the traditional home run for + from the battery. In that case there is an access grommet in the cubby near where the jack is stored. Alternately folks have run they the firewall grommets and up the side of the floors in under the trim.
There is a ground point at the rear hatch about a foot up.

That's good info for others for sure, in my case I've removed the seats and installed drawers, fridge, and run 2/0 power down the driver's side to the rear.

Add the other two speaker plugs on the Mark Levinson Lexus amplifier (does not apply to TLC / JBL). There are 12 channels total at the plugs.

LX mark Levinson only
Yes, these are post amplifier high level.
There are two input signals to the amp, low level left and right and coax 5.1 or 7.1
You could certainly tap the low level input and get full signal, but that doesn’t carry the dvdaudio or dvd multichannel. It does carry a Downmix of the multichannel.
I have heard that those amps recover a good bit of bass, but if you want to make sure you have all of it, the low level signal is available. There may be some time delay issues to the other speakers that go thru the ML amp to account for.
