I had to add a 1/2” spacer ring.
A short depth conical shape would fit easier. But most shallow mount are not conical, a lot of the baskets are basically vertical.

I still think this sub would be awesome, not sure if the basket walls are too shallow.

Personally, both of those would be wasted in the stock box without some serious modifications. It may ne possible to fit them in there. I think @grinchy would be of help as they are similar dimensions to the JBL he installed.

Like severe overkill for what is in there. I am sure with some serious work, as seen on the first page of this thread, they would sound great.
But even as quiet as the LX is, it is not a great sound environment for that level of sub. If you have one and it fits, then go for it, but I would not spend that much for a sub to put in the stock box. My Alpine makes the whole right side of the SUV rattle and I put quite a bit of CDL on there.

Not bashing on your taste at all. Those are both amazing subs.

Yeah the cheap sub I have can overpower the other speakers easily, and if I get into the higher volumes I can vibrate the rear view mirror.
The stock box is small and there is only so much you can do with that volume.
