Do you have an engine to swap in or are you looking to rebuild the one that is currently in there. If you are just looking to swap the old with a new, I can do that and for a reasonable price.

If you are looking for someone to rebuild your current engine go with Trollhole (Marshall) here in the club

I'd try to find a used 2f, get it checked out, and installed. It would be the cheapest way. OR a 3B would be a nice motor to drop in.

I'd get your 2F rebuilt, It will cost you the least in the long run. Contact Trollhole here on the board, he works on cruisers on the side and is a 2F expert. He is likely going to be your most cost effective option.

marshall and trollhole are one and the same. Look under chat for a post of his. Click on his name and send him a private message. Personally i would find a used 2f with good compression #'s and run with it.

Would need compression #s and need to know if the odo has rolled already (100k+ miles.) Then would need to have it shipped. Something else to think of is in SC we don't have smog so you don't need all the smog equipment. A short block without smog would cost much less.

There are several of us around Columbia I'm in Sumter and I think anoter Upstate member or two is in Columbia, just hang on I am sure Trollhole will chime in in a short. I don't know of a 2F at the moment in the area: David had a extra f for a while but I think it's in use now. Hummmmmm!!!
