I did a search, but didn't find much. Or did not search properly. I want to put back on the engine decals that came on my 73 FJ40. I see that Specter sells many of them. I would like to confirm the number of decals there are as wll as the location where they should go. I see the F155 decal as well as the air cleaner decal. Are there others? Thanks, Tom

Wow. That is an awesome site! I'm good with the F155 and Air Cleaner Service decals. Is the decal that is on top of the valve cover toward the back the "F Toyota Improved Combustion System" decal? Also, Specter has a "F Engine Measurement" decal. Where does this go? Are there any that I am missing (besides these four)?
Thanks! Tom

Thanks Zags.
I have sent a message to him. So do you only have these three decals? Nothing regarding a 4th that reads "F Toyota Improved Combustion System"?
Thanks,
Tom

Hey guys.

The improved was on the passenger side valve cover on the rear section between the stampings.

I have seen black, purple and green air cleaner decals. They are identical other than color SMS last two xx in part number.

To give you some history, I have been tinkering around with vintage land cruisers since I was 15 as my first LC in '85 was a '73 FST and I drove the piss out if it. Races in the HS drags and took 3rd place as it was consistent. Still have the "Woodburn drag script" news paper.

Since then I've had a great passion for them. When I started restoring them a little over 15 years ago I got to a point where they looked new, but none of the documentation decals were gone. So I took it another step and started reproducing decals. It's taken me 15 years to get to the point in at today and adding new ones as I acquire them.

I've done me best to build a site that breaks them down by model and years. Lots of research, pictures and lots of documentation.

If you come across one that I don't have, I'll recreate it and supply you with a new one at no charge.

Check out my new site www.metrictlc.com and its only been up for a week.

Then www.LabRak.com for you guys that like quality expedition gear.

Thanks for the kind words and ill help any way I can.

Also check out my 1981 resto in my sig line, that will get you up to speed on how OCD I am.

Cheers.
