Neighbor you say,Hey Obe12, what size pulley are you running to see 6–7 psi, 75 mm? I’m also in DFW so we’re at about the same elevation.
I’m looking at a MaxxECU since I may swap in a Gen 1 8HP70 later, and it would also give me control over fueling and timing. I installed the 40gallon LRA tank earlier this year and love the extra range. You have more capacity so assume you're holding up the line at Costco
Are you running widebands on both banks? Also, is the 10.2–10.5 AFR only at WOT in the summer heat? Curious what it looks like when temperatures cool down.

Wide bank one bank now, narrow o2 on bank 1 and 2. When climate outside air is down I don’t hear “what I think is maybe spark knock” I mean right load right rpm I maybe hear it. But that can be too late when boosted. Knock a ring land off a piston pretty quick with spark knock.
In the mountains I don’t ever hear it. I changed to a smaller pulley aka “don’t remember” for the altitude and just never went back to a larger one when I came home last year off my 4800 mile trip. Went directly into cooler weather and just forgot … really.
The mission is get MaxxECU up and going with my stock trans… then plan 8HP70 swap. Add trans harness that’s needed as a pigtail harness after removal of my A343.
The truck has 421,000 miles now and trans 1-2 is softening up on the shift, I feel a difference and can catch it just right and have a slide into gear. Of If I tow a small trailer the extra load detected corrects the shift line pressure increase to cover it up.
I have a pull out 113k 4.7 in storage … ready to drop in if I broke a piston now… so it happens it happens… prefer not to destroy parts tho, the mechanic in me just wouldn’t except that.
When my hobby shop gets finished and ac heat with lift , I start of a possible trans swap. 1st I need to make my Maxxecu sysyem integrate.
My other Landcruisers is an 80 series. Turbo intercooler 500 hp turned down 450 max at a push of a button. That’s becoming my overland rig right now and driving the 100 daily.
I have to grab a caliper mic and measure the removed and installed sized pulleys I have for the Elate SC.
