Anyone know if the EGR tube can be pulled without removing the Intake Manifold?

It depends on how small your hands are and how much bend you have in your sockets. It's hard to get to for sure. But it is possible.

I think in the end it'd be a toss up as to which way would cause more cussing and fuming... both have their disadvantages. But thinking about getting the plate ON, I think you'd be better off with the intake manifold out of the way in order to get to the bolts and be able to put enough torque on them.

Oh, I'm quite sure... with instructions on how to make the ECU understand the lack of an EGR on an OBD-II rig.... lol.

Lol, yeah going to be a very specific product, but for people like me with stand alone this will be nice. $40 is a little steep, I was looking at making them myself and a 3/8"x2"x12" piece of aluminum was only $7. But these look like nice parts and save me the time.

Everything I've read appears to indicate that nobody has an EGR Delete method that works 100% error/issue-free with OBD-II equipped FZJ/LX's.

If someone has finally solved that riddle, I'd love to hear/read about it...

(sorry for the Hijack)
