1984 5speed, standard Toyota SR5 extra cab pickup 22R. - $3500 (Pearl, MS)

I have enjoyed driving from Jackson and Decatur and back since I bought it one year ago. She runs perky and strong. I have wheeled it once or twice and wouldn't think of selling it but have realized I need the passenger space offered by a 4runner.

This truck has ca 15000 miles on a fully rebuilt engine, new exhaust and front brake calipers. New radiator, water pump, fan clutch, fuel pump. Pulls strong and gets 22mpg. 4 wheel drive works. I got rid of the WARN hubs the truck came with and replaced them with a nicely rebuilt AISIN set. In the process I rebuilt the knuckles with new bearings and seals. I also installed a dash board temp guage to replace the dead original. Nice set of new all terrain tires. New tie rods and misc front end components. New clutch slave and master cylinders. Recently strobe tuned with new plugs, wires and distributor cap. Camper shell included (not shown in photos). AC BLOWS COLD!!

interior is decent. no significant rust. runs and drives great. Some faded paint and small dent on driver side body.

That looks just like my 84. Wish I had $3500 laying around.

clank or clunk

When I shift into drive on my 89 from a standstill sometimes I hear a clanking sort of sound. It reminds me of the sound my 60 made when the u-joints were going out. Any thoughts on what this might be?

Ps, its an automatic

My first ever on any car.

Grease the driveshafts and ujoints. Report back.
