do they draw heat away more efficiently?
Thicker so they will help cool if there are any other problems in the system or if it just gets realy hot! Usually around the same .price.

Are there any problems with fit? Does it involve any cutting?
I pulled one from a 4Runner of same body style with V6. The upper intake port was different. I think it was a 90* and I needed a 45*, or something like that. Cut off the part I didn't need, and it has been fine going on 3-4 years now.
I'm not entirely sure all the bolt holes are the same, but they are close enough that you can make it work if they aren't.

Picked this up from a guy in NE Arkansas yesterday. 1989. 32k on a toyota tech rebuilt 22RE. Newish transmission with a warantee. Straight body, no rust and a 8274 winch. $2500. Not perfect but not bad at all.

The dude I got it from had a pet coyote. The pet deer got killed by a pack of dogs when it started and ran into the fence and snapped its neck.

Actually country living. This was his land with some big animal pens on it. Happened earlier. He drag races and builds his own cars. Had an awesome shop with a brand new shiny v8 sitting on the stand ready to go into the dragster. Lots of trophies on the wall.
