Yes. Have the gears and lockers ready to install. Maybe but the end of the year or first few weeks of January.

Jealous! I need to start buying the parts individually so it doesn't hurt the wallet as bad. Did you decide to go to Six States?

Yup, Six States it is. It will hurt the wallet regardless, haha. It's a lot of stuff!

I’m really loving how the truck is looking, can’t wait to get the bumpers in. I’ve gotten a lot more seat time and I can conclude things more certain now. The power with the new tires doesn’t feel much different to me. When I mash it it still feels similar. The truck certainly hunts for gear much more now and it’s not as enjoyable to drive like that. I’m having to downshift more than I’d like to get/maintain speed. Excited to get gears in. I’m hoping in a few weeks. I need to get my compressor installed and a switch panel ordered for easy accessory install including lockers. Also the truck is getting several MPG less than I was before. Looking forward to that improving a little with proper gears. What do people do for speedometer calibration?

I need to get some proper, non-cell phone pictures at some point.

Check out the Yellow Box module for speedo correction. Runs about $110 shipped and is plug and play. Or there's a splice in version for a little less. I've got a plug in unit hopefully waiting for me at home when I get home from a trip.

Your truck looks great!

Dude, the stance on that thing is looking nice. That 3/4 rear shot shows how much those meats poke out. Is there really such thing as too much offset? Not on this truck

The blacked out chrome trim & emblems flow well.

Keep the post coming!

Didn't know they had one that is now plug and play. Let us know what you think once you get it installed.

Agree. Really like the blacked out look on your rig.

I think the only reason I've kept mine is thinking someone might buy it wanting it to look stock.

I could see that. This material is Plati-dip so it can be peeled off if necessary. I’ve always taken a certain approach with my vehicles in that I enjoy them the way I want and don’t concern myself all that much with the next owner. One of the guys on the BMW forum put it this way in describing people not driving M3s to keep the miles off them...”not driving your M3 to keep the miles off them for when you sell it would be like not kissing [enter whatever activity you wish] your girlfriend to save her for her next boyfriend.” As ridiculous as that example is, I do subscribe to that idea and buy vehicles to do with them as I wish and to enjoy them in the way I want. This obviously would be different if it was a car that held value or even appreciated in value.

Where can I find information on the yellow box module?

Understood. Don't get me wrong though. My LC gets used and abused as many on here and has plenty of mods. We just decided some time after we got it that aesthetically we'd try to keep the classic look of it if we could. Anyway, interested to see what else you have planned for your vehicle.

Understandable. Being in SLC myself, maybe we’ll bump into each other at some point.

Jason's link is the one.

I just installed mine. Took about 30 minutes including reading the instructions, doing the math for my application, installing it, and road testing for adjustment. Was very easy and now I'm dead-nuts accurate on the speedometer via gps. I did stop once and make one tiny adjustment after the first leg of the road test as I adjusted a little too much originally. I did notice a lag in the speedometer reading as mentioned at one point in this thread. Yellowbox Speedometer Correction Install

I need to get on this. Wonder if GPS phone app would be accurate enough as I don’t currently have another GPS unit.

Got the Dissent front bumper in. Was a little bit of a headache with the shipment but it all worked out. Our normal UPS driver ended up refusing to load this style of package on a skid to his truck and said it should be going freight. He even had to get the Union involved and they sided with the driver that they did not have to deliver this style shipment even though shipment was paid for. So he was able to leave the hub without it on the truck. Since the shipment had been paid for they had to have a small box truck make a special run just with this package in order to deliver it as promised, but they weren't happy about it. Somehow, according to the driver, this was my fault.

Also, when it arrived one of the brackets was bent. Not a big deal as it can be bent back but still a bummer for me when you think about how much money was spent on the item AND how expensive shipping is. The regular driver did ask for me to explain why he refused to load it to his truck and was able to see the skid at that time. He said he believe it would have gotten much more damage if it had been loaded to his truck for our industrial area. When he asked how much shipping was he claimed if it was done via freight it could have been half the cost. Either way, ground is probably easier for 95% of people and they wouldn't have forklift access like I would. Also, it appears the Dissent badge was installed upside down. Easy fix. Excited to get it coated and installed. Likely will have a custom hoop made before powdercoat so I can swap between hoop or no hoop depending on how I like the look. Still so much to be done!

That's annoying stuff man. I've usually had good luck with UPS freight drivers dropping stuff off at my house with a lift gate, but freight is an extra $200 ish i feel like
It’s all good, will work out once I get it set for install.
