LOL, Toyotapartsdeal.com will be one of the first hits on any (google/bing/duckduckgo) Toyota parts search. They never remove discontinued parts from their website. It's such a scam to keep their name at the top of the search list.

Does anyone have experience removing the pivot shaft from the visor and trying to tighten the fit somehow? (no viagra jokes, lol)

If you go LS400 or Ls430

I sell clip and mount kits to take care of the misalignment so you can use the visor swung out.

Do you know what years LS400 or LS430 fit FZJ80?

You slipped them into the visor?
no, I used the garage door opened to clip a stack of 3 of the magnets to each visor - which is why I now have two garage door openers in the truck :doh:

let me take pictures tomorrow

this avoids having to mess with the headliner:

one rare earth magnet under the clip of a garage door opener, two magnets on top - where to position the first magnet on the visor becomes obvious when you hold the magnet against the headliner first and then fold up the visor to test - use the magnets individually at first, once they click together they are difficult to separate

in my truck, both visors were drooping . . . so now I have two garage door openers clipped to the visors and holding the magnets - visors will stay put

I know it works for '95-'97 - I didn't need to try on our '93 80 yet

If you do go the LS430 route don’t cut the extremely short amount of wire too short like I did. Good thing they are cheap.
