Had a busy and great day today. Rescued two puppies who are fun and adorable. The brindle is already adopted

Then this good boy auditioned to be a service dog and knocked it out of the park. He is scheduled to go into training in the next few days.

These were taken today, Father Time has waved his wand over all of us 😭 I'm thankful he still makes moves as well as he does. Hoping to get him in a 55 for the cooler weather. I highly doubt he will appreciate the sentiment as much as me, but having the old man rest his head on my lap sprawled across the bench seat should be comforting for both of us in our old age.

Argos had the largest nuggets ever recorded on a dog removed today. Part of the reason was that the left one was infected from a dog bite, and part because he's just that way.

He was on the table and intubated and when I tried to leave the room he slid his muzzle in my direction and tried to get up.

Once the procedure was completed, he awakened prematurely tried to get off the table as the vet and tech tried to get all the tubes and whatnot out of him.

Once he was more lucid, he trotted out to the car and then collapsed.

I took the opportunity to wash 2 years of disgusting filth off him since he was already high AF

We are back in our kennel, acting as if nothing happened.

First ride. We kept it short; about a quarter mile to the top of the driveway and back.

And yes I know, his harness says jeep on it.

Pouring one out indeed.

We had a dog friendly bar in town called "The Fallen" and I went there several times with a Dane we fostered last year.

She was just tall enough to steal beer patrons were too slow to secure, with her apparently yard long tongue.

She was one of the toughest fosters I've had but still kinda miss her

She lives in a luxury apartment now in Downtown Nashville and can occasionally be seen walking in bicentennial park

Don't mean to pile on, but had a bad day today.

Responded to a loose dog in the neighborhood who may have been hit by a car.

Took awhile to find him but I arrived too late. Evidently he was hit again.

Based on his cheap plastic collar and physical condition, it looks like he had been neglected for quite some time.

I'd like to think I showed him kindness and respect, even if it was after it was too late to make a difference.

You a good man !! Thank you for all you do.

Your not piling it on were all here to to share the good and the bad. And I'm sure it helps to get it off you chest.

RIP
