I have not decided where to go with this LV. I have a plan, but I am also wondering if I am really up for a big project again (I did a hands-on frame-off resto/restomod on my 40). Do I embark on the project or do I sell and buy something less of a restoration project... In either case I wanted to document the current state of the truck. I'll add more videos and details later but for now:

Some details:
No engine or transmission
Original axles
No seats
Gauge cluster and some switches have been removed and boxed
Hood is a replacement - surface rust only
I got the truck with the blue paint, I see some bondo (right rear corner where I sanded off the paint).
Some floor pieces have been replaced by the PO

If I recall correctly you have been sitting on a 2uz manual drivetrain. If that is correct I would vote for that installed in the LV.

Your dilemma is understood because most 45LV restorations require big commitment but yield maximum satisfaction. I'm chipping away at my LV at snail's pace, but there's always forward progress. There are some incredible builds on this forum that keep me motivated. I would encourage you to move forward with your plan and enjoy the journey along the way.

Yes, 2UZ + H151 5 speed, FF rear with parking and disc brakes (OEM 70 series), DB front, AC...

First step is to get it all media blasted to see what's what... If I move forward.

I know it is a good candidate... just not sure if I have the gumption to go full tilt on it.

Might have to start a gofundme.... ;-)
