Phil, the box says 101lbs with the stinger in it if that helps.

I also don't think I posted any pics since my kit was finished! There are a couple of almost there but not really! The guard still in the box, haven't got around to weld it yet! Soon.

I apologize if this question has been answered already, but what's the weight penalty due to this bumper over the OEM. Basically it comes down to what is the weight of all the parts you take off the truck to put on the 101lb dissent?

I haven't weighed all the stock parts yet but I would say you probably remove 30-40 lbs, the base bumper weighs about 85lbs empty so you would only be adding 45-55lbs. Add another 23lbs to that if you run the full bull bar.

Just weighed all the oem front bumper parts and they weighed in at 35lbs.

Good talking to you last night Ben, thanks for the pointers. The bumper kit arrived yesterday so I figured I'd go through this thread to catch any pointers I might need. I did realize that I won't be doing a black powdercoat but will probably go with a grey since it brings out the aesthetics of the bumper.

I'm in the midst of rebuilding my 100 and may need to change my Monstaline color choice......decisions decisions. I should have the main shell and wings welded up tonight.

The main parts im sure will make sense but all the bracing could be easily placed wrong. Just looking to assemble it the way it designed.

There are no instructions yet. All the pieces are tabbed and slotted so the parts can only go where they belong.
Pm me when you are getting close and I will give you my number for any questions.

Phil, this thing is very straight forward and full proof! The only spot a bit tricky is the cap for the shackle mount and once you are ready to weld that you clamp it all together putting a fender washer on one side as a spacer to give enough room for powder coating later on. I used 2 washers and it was too much but I can live with it!
When you get to that point on the build this will make sense!

Worked on the tundra version today. A few minor changes and different frame brackets and I'll be good to go.

I will +1 this. I just got done welding mine up, just have the wing gussets left. I am thinking about Monstalining mine

I recently finished up my Cruiser and painted the bumper. A can of Monstaliner is on the way but I love how the bumper looks.
