Seeing his work. I am not surprised he has plenty of people demanding his time.

Ben has been wrestling with other projects, so the work on the rear bumper hasn’t started. Hopefully soon.
I have a trip to Canyonlands NP the first week of October. Hoping to have everything buttoned up and ready By then too. The ship 4XOverland sent their Slinky parts on has been holding everything up for my build.
Ben is close to starting the fabrication on the rear bumper. He thinks it will go pretty quick with minimal alterations from the 100 series bumper design. I’d say you have a good chance at meeting your October timeline.
I highly suggest calling Ben to get as realistic a time line as possible. Putting some money on the table will likely increase the likelihood of success.

That would be cool. I’ve got a few buddies mountain biking the White Rim Trail. I’ll be their support truck. Planning to wheel Elephant Hill in the Needles district, but am on my own. Would like to meet up if it works out. Do you have HAM or GMRS?Funny, guess i'll see you at canyonlands in october![]()
The bumper will be available in steel and aluminum. Ben is going try to design a hitch that meets the needs of most everyone. It would be a removable receiver that would allow towing and removed for better departure angle. He is trying to avoid cutting the crossmember.Curious if your bumper build is going to be all steel or partial aluminum? Also any update on how Ben has planned to work the hitch? Cutting into the cross member? So eager to see some pics of this build!!!
Put me down for one...where do I send a deposit?! @Wompom and I are going to share shipping costs as we live pretty close to each otherThe bumper will be available in steel and aluminum.
