Dissent offroad 80 series modular bumper interest

Looking at those bars do you or Ben feel like a bolt in bar is strong enough to withstand impact? And is there enough room to put a light bar under the shortest stinger?
Strength to withstand an impact is dependent on the applied force. The bar will hold up to a fair amount, but in a collision with another vehicle, it’s likely to give way. The modular design allows you to bolt on new parts though. One reason I like the Dissent bumpers.

Not sure if a light bar will fit under the stinger, but with a wide variety of bar lengths available, I’d guess it would not be a problem.

Please contact Ben for specifics.

Rad! rear up next?
Yes...waiting for an update on when that will be. Ben has been hitting the project hard the last couple weeks. Stoked !!

Is Ben waiting to sell the front bumpers after the rear is done. Maybe there could be a group buy for both to get things started😁
Can’t speak for @benc and I don’t know what plans he has going forward, but he is a very nice guy and great about answering questions. Suggest you give him a call.

They recently bought more than one new machine to help speed up the process of building armor. Hopefully they’ll be able to start pumping out more product soon. They have been actively looking for employees to expand the business.

Congrats !! Ben mentioned he took another deposit, but didn't mention who. We're lucky to get a foot in the door. After he figures out the first rear bumper, hoping things will speed up for everyone.

I see you're from the southeast. Are you getting a weld your own kit or a full bumper?

Getting full bumper. I have a @kelly saad grille so i didn't order the grille guard and i went for aluminum because i don't want extra unneeded weight when i overland and not rock crawl.

Wish he would make a bumper for first gen pickups....

In need of a 80 series rear bumper, subscribed

Yesterday I put in a call to @benc per @Road Apple advice and encouragment. Not only was Ben a great guy to chat with about bumpers, trucks and what not I learned that this is a guy who doesn't want to compromise quality for the sake of getting product out the door.

Like a lot of things, Covid has upped demand on certain products, truck accessories not withstanding. Ben told me that the 80 series front and rear bumpers are "not if but when." But it could take a while because of overwhelming demand for his other products leaving little time for new products.

However, there is hope...Ben said if we can get a group buy going he might be able to crank out a short run of front bumpers. Need an absolute minimum of 5 but preferably 10 orders. @ZMaster @Wompom @Dissent @jwbc84 you all interested? Were all in Washington so maybe we can share shipping costs. Anybody else is welcome to join. Once we get a count, I imagine we'll put down deposits. Who's in?

@SteelHunterFJ80 the front will look weird if it doesn't match the rear bumper ;)

Did you get another 80!?!? You sold me your last one three years ago😆😉

Prices with options will be similar to the 100 series I'm sure. Check out https://dissentoffroad.com/

Scroll down to the menu and check out the 100 series options
LoL, I thought your name looked familiar. Didn’t think I would get another, but here I am. Back in the 80 section. Ready to buy another?
