Hope you guys build more of this bumpers, love the design and the welds.😍😆

Wow! That is awesome!!!

Best FJ 62 color, last year I picked up a twin with 95k miles and some slight crash damage. I really thought about a similar build and adding front coils and 80 series locked axles with the H55, which is a sweet set up on the 3FE!

I put the truck up for sale to resist the temptation, (not 100% I need another significant Cruiser) however if it doesn’t find a home in the next while and I get the other projects in front of it completed, the pictures of this awesome build have convinced me, it is the way I will take the build as opposed to a stockish restoration.

Super nice work, looking forward to seeing it in the metal at Cruise Moab in a few weeks!!!

Added a couple of accessories to the panels today and more tomorrow. The bungee on the can is temporary as I wait for some parts for the tie down.

Also changed out the rear springs to some new ones from Ironman which brought the back up a good bit.

A lot has happened over the last week!
We modified a lc200 trekboxx to fit the 62, added a red arc bms, battleborn 100ah battery and fridge. Also had to get creative with the rear springs to handle the weight. Next heading to trekboxx hq for some new side wings on the system to better fill the gaps on the sides of the drawers.

What modifications were needed to fit the trekboxx in the 62?

Not much actually. Had to modify the seat latch to move the back of the seat 1” to fit the cargo barrier.
I drilled the floor in the rear of the vehicle to bolt down and used turn buckles on the rear of the system by the seat to the factory tie down points. Also had to cut a small piece out of the center cargo barrier by the fridge to clear the roof. I went to his shop today and sounds like he may offer a kit for the 60!

I do I hope that bumper goes into production. Also replacing the detent ball and spring will be the easiest thing you do. Make sure to do both at the same time, I only did the spring and not the ball and found myself back under there a day later.

Looks great. Did you mention what light you put in the upper part of the tailgate?

I just noticed it has a 60 FF rear in it, nice
