That is one really nice 75.

crushers;8345415.. i tell him i want to take it to show my wife. i also mentioned i might be gone a few hours. "no problem" i drive home trying to figure out how i was going to convince her that it SHOULD buy it...[/QUOTE said:
In the next post you're divorced. Any connection? :D Nice trucks.

nah, the divorce wasn't the cruisers or the wrenching on cruisers. just different directions in life after the kids left home.

75

I wish you would spend the winter in Texas, you would be working on my 75 for sure. Love those 75's and especially that red! This thread made my day!!!

i could spend a winter in Texas

"have tools, will travel"
maybe i need to set up my 75 as a traveling Land Cruiser mech shop?
thanks for the compliment.

Get a good physical and make sure your arteries can handle fried foods before you head south. :D

just had a full physical ... doc said "your fat but healthy"
so i am good to go.

after posting up this thread i am now getting the urge to stick a factory box onto my present 75 series ...

The tray backs are probably more versatile but the factory boxes look better. :)
The side bodies are actually low enough that you can remove items fairly easily from the rear bed.

i would modify the local 79 box to fit ...
and yes, the tray has been VERY useful.

IF i do install the box, i will do a thread on it.
don't you worry
cheers

red

Just when I had my mind made up on a color, a DIFFERENT color, along comes this thread about a red 75!:frown: Red is my favorite color but my wife and son refused to agree to another red vehicle in the fleet. Let's see, that would make 4 red vehicles. Sure as hell, one of my buddies would nail up a "Fire Station" sign on my garage.:D

The Bad News .......Folklore says cops notice red vehicles more than others and are more prone to stop you for speeding.

The Good News .... Most 75 Series are incapable of speeding ( with the exception of a school zone :D )

Is this what the average Canadian "mine truck" looks like?

Turbo'd 1HZs are quick with the right tune.
Add propane to that. It would be a bit crazy.
