excellent link, saved and thanks
i had been thinking of relocating the rear axle back to the proper opening, maybe using 79 series rear springs and rear hangers being relocated
but
if the mounts line up like that then a cut might be in order.
i do like the look,
cheers

Turbo'd 1HZs are quick with the right tune.
Add propane to that. It would be a bit crazy.

I was not aware that a 75 Series had a 1HZ. I assume it would be a tad more zippy than my ole 2H. :)

silly boy,
you are so pre 1990.:D

Cut me some slack........
I am old, blind and haven't had my coffee. :D
I didn't realize you had one of those "fancy" 75 Series. :)

say to yourself "must not post till after coffee"

Probably good advice but I will forget this conversation by tomorrow morning.
My post are like giving a "cheap" Christmas gift ..... I have good intentions. :D

your posts are always enjoyable ...
the same way you "enjoy" watching an old man with ear-hair trying to hit on a younger woman.

Ear Hair ..... Probably explains my hearing loss. I just assumed my 2H was getting quieter with time. :D

looked in the mirror this morning and though ... damn, that's dad looking back at me.

i hope the new owner sees this thread and posts up how he is liking the truck a decade later.

Wayne,

Congrats on your 20,000th post.
I have learned a lot from you and hope to continue learning from your cruiser knowledge.

Do you think you'll ever pull the boat anchor out of your 75 and swap in a diesel?

I too have thought about getting one of those 79 take off boxes but I think the cost to get it to me would kill need in my eyes. Your a bit closer making it a totally viable option.

I occasionally hear from some of the guys who have bought my previous Land Cruisers and Land Rovers..... The notes are usually in the form of "death threats" especially from the Land Rover guys. :D
20,000+ post ..... That is a lot of sage advise. :)

I would have thought it was the poor fella who bought your prado :meh:

Funny you mention that ..... I did hear from him a while back and the Prado is still going strong. It is somewhere out west in high elevation country if I am not mistaken. :)

post slut, post whore, attention slut
i have been called them all.
but thanks, i try and help where i can.

lets consider this for a second.
each post takes anywhere from 1-4 minutes, depending if i am posting a pic or just a quick response.
so 2 min per post average, 40,000 min = 666 hours or 83 working days or 16 working weeks or 4 months of steady typing ... my typing teacher would be proud.
everyone else would say "get a life"

cheers
