Fine.....just want you to know I traded my reality tv shows for this thread..........going to bed.....

I've never had any problems with backfires when doing that by the way....just have to be on the safe side.........

That makes sense :)

This is reality!!!! :D

haha, have a nice night man ;)

I will post photos of my hopefully not burnt fj40 tomorrow evening ;)
Lets hope i can get this simple fuel system working :D

The fuel pump you can buy new from any parts store.. just ask for a 78fj40

Concur with the fuel down the carby- Stock standard practice for me after the last twenty odd years of running out of fuel.

I started my 25 after pulling the fuel tank out and cleaning - we droppped more than a thimble - more like 50 thimbles - it hadn't started for three years - poured the fuel down and away she went.

Good evening............

The covers turned out great!

SOR foam is FIRM and a huge pain in the ass to muscle around, but the should settle into place after some miles.

As far as assemble, it was a work out, I lost a few pounds tonight putting the drivers seat together.

Putting the welt corn on the back took a little bit of thinking, but turned out perfect.

cool I will give it a try tomorrow :D

Should i put the air cleaner back on before starting>?
you pull the choke as well? or just normal?

I wouldn't worry - Get it running and you can put it back on. It will probably take a couple of goes - if it solves the problem. As for the choke - Feel will be your best bet if it starts to splutter change where the choke is -Closed or open. If you have some one to help you (Maybe that handy dog) you can move it at the carby.

Hope this helps.
