From Trail Tailor:
Some repair body panels (aftermarket stamped)
Source for fenders (aftermarket stamped right and left)
Distributors-- working on a batch of OEM rebuilds
Rear crossmember 60 sections (first article cut and bend due in two weeks)
Rear crossmember 62 inner section (first article cut and bend due mid-Jan)
Rear corssmember 62 outer section ( still in design phase- need rear section for R&D)

Interior parts:
Aluminum panels (standard and storage)-- Cargo and tailgate available now
HDFB panels (to be recovered)-- 1st article cut panels -- due in two weeks
Inner moisture barrier on doors-- waiting on 1st article from above to produce
Possible rear shoulder conversion
B-pillar repro panels

Carbs- have 16 OEM carbs that I have a plan for, but not until Jan/Feb- making a call to JimC soon.

Pistons and Rings-- Still available from Toyota IIRC
Valves-- Japanese aftermarket available now

Just what I have in the works for now. My ideas change daily it seems anymore.

The 61012 carb is still available AFAIK.
I rebuilt one last week that was only few years old and noticed that some parts of it were updated from 1FZ carb.
Got me thinking, wonder if a brand new 3F or 1FZ carb could cough up enough new parts to combine w/2F carb to build essentially new unit?

Yes, I'm obsessed. Please carry on.

@reevesci , please call me after vacation on Jan10th or so to discuss evil plans for cruiser domination carb & dissy production schedule.

how odd, my parts guy called( and said Toyota USA is out and do not plan on stocking anymore, but may make more....which it sounds like they will do if there are enough request. This is the 1st time I have been told, that if I order it and they make it, there is no returning it(which is fair)

looking at the date on the box from Jason......I think I know where they all went ;) (I meant to order earlier but I forgot)

Ill trade you a dip stick.......;)

I tried to order more and they are on a "Stop Sale" status from Toyota now. I sold 4 yesterday evening and I will keep what I have for now..

I have a call into my buddy that their old inventory is not Toyota base linked to see if he has any. If he does, I'll sale some more.

My reman'd that I put in my truck back when I first got it is still going strong. However, I may see about finding an electrical shop that can rewind it for higher amp. Would be nice to have a stock Toyota that has been rewound to put out more juice!

Just order an early 80 alt... JimC has the conversion thread somewhere on this. Just remember our systems weren't designed for high output and a few Mudders have burnt their rigs to the ground trying to up their systems... Make sure your electric is top notch or figure a stand alone secondary input solution. Dual batteries with aux fuse panel, relays and breakers.

At Barnwell a few years back a guy in a 40 with a Mean Green high output burned to the ground using the old 40 harness.

Just my .02
