I was lucky enough to score the very last dash from Mark Vickers ( aka Dashman ) . I always make an effort to support small business. This was my second purchase from Mark, he was always great to deal with.
BTB products "Barrowed" his design, an continues to make a similar dash box, I refuse to buy from them.

I've been wanting one of these. Why won't you buy from BTB? Do I have any other option if I want one?

Not unless you can find a used one. I spoke to Mark last year and he is no longer making these. I refuse to buy fromBTB because it is not theirs to make from what I understand. And lower quality, also from what I have heard others state on this forum

I was thinking of making one of these, but I couldn't make it for less than the retail of BTB, $300. I mean the metal is cheap and the lock is $10 but the time to fabricate and finish is probably two days since it would be the first time. I can make a LOT more in two days, it's easier to order it.
