Looks good - what kind of shocks are you using?

I'm looking forward to seeing the color on the truck. It will be somewhat similar to the original beige 40 look, yet modernized...

Red ones.....

:p:D

I bought one $16 Gabriel from Autozone. Most likely not the shock I'm going to run, though for $16 who cares. I just needed a shock for placing the mounts on the axle.

:bounce::bounce2:

Gas tank is up and the hoses are loose off the passenger side. Tomorrow I'll look at the hard lines.

Got Gas?

Fuel supply and return lines are done. I decided to use new line from NAPA. I'll redo the brake line when I run the charcoal canister ... with the body off.

Damn Jon, when you get motivated you make the rest of us look like slackers. That mounting looks bullet proof. Is the light blue canister a fuel filter?

Edit: Filter replaced.

If anybody has a use for some 3/8" inline filters I have two I'm not going to use. For some reason the gas tank kit came with 3/8" instead of the 5/16" that I needed.

A lesson learned.
I had a problem with the starter. I had 12.3 volts at the battery. Headlights were bright. When I turned the key the starter just chugged like the battery was dead. I hooked up the charger, set it to start, and nothing. I hooked up the jumper cables to the truck, and nothing.

Then I woke up .... and hooked up the engine ground to the frame. It's usually the simple things.

Gas gauge works. Gas stayed in the tank and kept off the floor. Problem is, it looks like none of it made it to the engine. :hhmm:

The gauge appears to have a low fuel LED. Does your tank and harness have the wiring?

Mike,

My documentation doesn't say anything about a low-level LED. I don't recall seeing anything when the tank was empty.

Now that I think about it, that thing that looks like an LED or lamp is on the full side so it is probably a stop on the full side and the camera angle makes it look like an LED.

Ya know, I got to thinking. I shouldn't have a problem. I'm powered by the mighty 3FE, not the 1FZFE!:flipoff2:

Tranny's In

The H55F with a split case is a monster to install by oneself. Now I just need to remember where I put that shifter.
