Yeah it's fun, not gonna win any awards for cosmetics, but it's a truck.
I'm looking forward to starting on the tray, still haven't decided on steel vs aluminum...but I think I'm going to copy something like this.
Minus the side boxes behind wheels.
And as for reality, who doesn't enjoy a good 3 hour grinding session? (Aside from hungover englishmen trying to sleep nearby...

)
All the old welds from crap I've removed.
For the record, removing a pto from an hj61 is annoying as s***, 9 bolts and they're all a bitch to access.
Still don't know what I'll use it for, but it's more likely to be used on this thing. There's a way to make it rear output, but it depends what I do with it. Just wanted it on there for when I work on the hump.
And got my front ubolt flip mostly finished off. 3/8" plate I had kicking around, with some flattened off rod welded underneath to locate them on the stock ubolt saddles.
I've again maxed out the rear 60 springs...

I want to get this thing on its feet with wheels and the body, so i can see if the front axle needs to move forward more. Really just whether the wheel looks right in the fender.
If it doesn't I'll probably move the hangers rather than find different springs.
