Custom door strikers- late doors to early tub

For those interested I also used the newer style door stops on my newer doors. I did this quite awhile ago and would have done a better job today. I cut out a slot for the piece that travels with a dremel and drilled holes for the mount. A 1000% improvement over the old door stops. I've definitely seen more doors with the stops ripped off then ones intact on the old doors. These work great.

Post #18 on page one shows where I put them. I always suggest double checking to see if the same measurements will work for your specific application.

Glad you guys got these.

Last 2 sets to Canada went out this morning.

Is a “conversation” the same as a private message? I sent dom a convo but haven’t heard back. I’ve never used this message board before though so I may have made a mistake.
 
I know it's been a while, but do you have any more available? I'd like to put the doors from my '76 FJ40 on my '71 FJ40 project vehicle. Thanks.

Welcome to our headache... getting anything shipped here costs way more than it should. A part that should cost $100 costs $250.

I've been running them for a few years and they've held up great. Perfect if you want to add newer doors to an older tub. I retro'd the door stops too but that's another issue all together. They are countersunk for the OEM tapered bolts that hold the early strikers on. You have to come up with the hoops from a newer style striker and drill and weld them on. I don't have any spares. PM if interested. $15 for a pair shipped....

These are exactally what I need for my 75 doors on my 71 tub. I know this thread is old but by any chance do you still have a pair that I could purchase?
