Well, it's time to throw away my hard line, from fuel pump to carb. Went a few days of running perfect and now it flooding out again. I just Bob the ends and use rubber until I get a new hard line. What a maddening process.

I just don't know what else it could be other than the hard line being crusty inside. Any other ideas are welcome.

It's been awhile. I've gotten the fuel problem resolved and I have just been driving and working out the minor bugs. The worst problem has been the windshield.

I had the glass shop cut a windshield for me. What I hadn't intended was for them too install it. They used a tractor cab seal. It was fine until I drove in the rain, it leaked like crazy. Only a can of flex seal could stop it, which I didn't do. I'm currently waiting for a template to arrive so I can install the proper glass and seal.

I am really enjoying this machine. Drives great and looks good doing it. I regret the thought of selling it to build a garage but my other toys, including another fj, demand it. My wife also demands it. I am enjoying it while I have it though.

Even without the windshield it looks pretty sweet. It sure is a noisy drive though. The bestop rear seat is a nice upgrade for the kids. My kids complain there is no DVD player but I don't care because I can't hear them when driving 60 with the windows down.

Whoops, sorry - my keyboard hiccupped!

My fuel gauge and temp gauge quit on me with all the leaks and what not. While cruising the forum I read about the resistor contact in the fuel gauge which in turn runs the coolant temp gauge.

The test meter confirmed that I had no continuity through the fuel gauge at all so I pulled it out filed the contact and presto!!! Both gauges back to operational.

This forum and the knowledge within are priceless. Thanks everyone
