Cup Holders?

So it's been a week since I released these cup holders. It's been a bit insane and almost 2/3rds of my machines were cranking out 70 series cup holders as fast as I could go. The good news is that we kept up and were able to keep inventory available for almost the entire time. The last wave that were ordered yesterday and the day before are all shipping out this morning. The ones that came in last night will go out Monday. Looks like things are slowing down and I can finally take a breath and get back to a normal pace of orders. Thanks for all the help from everyone on here in getting this product made and releasesd and thanks to all of you who ordered one and supported my little business. If you have any suggestions or complaints PLEASE message me with that stuff or email me at bradrh22@gmail.com. I always want feedback either good or bad. It's how I continue to make my products better and more functional.

I got my cup holder today. I really love the way it looks. I will be emailing you a pic of it in my cruiser with some feedback.

Got mine on Friday and love it. Thanks for a great product.

If the holders were just a hair larger in diameter, they would hold a Yeti coozie perfectly. The holes have a little taper to them so the coozie starts in, but will not quite fit.

Wrap a piece of sand paper around the cup and spin it in the holder a few times. :hillbilly:

I am severely disappointed Dan. I would have figured you would have posted up a P/N for some long unubtanium SST for honing the cyliders of a long discontinued and non-supported Toyota engine ... :hillbilly:

I will try the sandpaper trick ...

Naps sells cylinder hones........:flipoff2:

Post a pic of what your trying to fit. There's a chance I may be able to modify the design a tiny bit. My only issue is that if the diameter gets too large then the usual fast food cup starts clanking around in the holes causing a mess. I try to make the diameter as big as possible but still functional for the smaller stuff. If you only need a tiny amount then I may be able to make that work. If I can, then your more than welcome to ship the first one back and I can send you an updated version.

Cup holder arrived today ! Now I just need a truck to put it in.
In the meantime, sit in your favorite recliner and place the cup holder about knee high in front of the left armrest. Practice placing and retrieving a cup with your left hand while you operate the t.v. remote with your right hand. After approximately 10 minutes you will be RHD Land Cruiser qualified. :)

there was a mention about a single cup holder. is that still intended for the line of production?
where would that sit? on top of the metal ridge?

I may do a single mounted to the dash somewhere for the folks with the bench front seat. I have not looked into the logistics of that project yet. I'm working down my list of projects I already committed to. I'm now onto the 40 series crowd and a few things for the Tacoma and 3rd Gen 4Runner guys. I will come back around to the 70 series products and expand that product line in a couple months. Just trying to keep all my promises first.

ok, thanks for update.
for LHD variant of the floor mounted 70 series cup holder you think you might do some in 2 months?
or is something you just change the settings from the rdh model?

sorry for my lack of 3d printing knowledge....

My cruiser is LHD and the holders he is selling now work as far as ergonomics goes if you don't mind the cell phone holder being on the left side (and the "land cruiser" logo facing the passenger side).

As stated above, my current floor design will work on either LHD or RHD with no fitment issues. You just have to off center it about 1/2" to clear the cell phone slot. Not an issue but if that bothers you then you will want to wait for the mirrored version. I hope to get that one up on my site some time next month. The single dash mounted version will be the month or two after that.

Just ordered one! I had drawn up plans for a custom console which included a dual cup holder but haven't gotten around to making it. This product will likely put that project on the back burner.

Thanks!

Diggin this, nice work!

My install was complicated a tad as I have aftermarket seats that are wider than the standard bucket. This forces the cup holder to the right a bit (in my RHD BJ74 fwiw) and into the shift console. Some minor die grinder action and it's good to go. Thanks again!
