The free-standing version does not butt up against the rear console. It stands-off about 2.5 inches forward.

Well.... version 7.0 is done and perfect. It was a bit frusturating that it took so many versions to get it perfect; but it's finally done. The print turned out perfect and fitment is perfect. I would take pics and get them posted tonight but I had a bit too much to drink watching the greatest Super Bowl of all time. I don't like either team but loved that game. Pics of the final version will be up tomorrow. Now I need to focus on the floor mounted version.

So here is the final version that mounts to a console. It looks basically the same as the older version. The changes were minor and more related to the final finish/quality of the print. Here it is by itself:

So @cruiserdan got the floor cup holder prototype and sent me some pics of it installed today. Fitment was pretty bad. I did not have a 70 floor to work off of so I had to eyeball it. I was rather off. I have made the needed changes based off his pics and suggestions and have version 2.0 of the floor cup holder printing now. I will get it in the mail asap. Hopefully this version will be a lot better. I don't want to show pics yet since fitment is pretty bad and I don't want to scare folks off. It WILL be much better soon.
We appreciate you building a valuable product for us!
Dan brought the prototype by my place yesterday. It needs some figment tweaking but I dig it. I'm excited for a finished product!

Correct me if needed. You will have a "free standing" model as well as the type that fits into the original console?
The free standing variant in beta as we speak. I have the prototype in my possession right now. Respecting Brad's position I will not post a photo of it in the truck because he needs to work on it and he did not like the way it was orientated. As soon as it gets buffed and puffed he will post the end product in place (in my truck ).
Based on the final console version and the heft of the prototype I have it should be an awesome product.
