7.5million.
Are these the first real public pictures of their facility?
I accidentally came across their place while driving to my GF’s cabin in NH last year. I immediately knew what I stumbled on. It’s a nice spot, but I definitely couldn’t do a winter there.

I am not one to write bad reviews on companies but in this instance I feel it is my obligation to warn people. I ordered the 3FE engine conversion kit for my fj60. This kit is supposed to go in place of the 2f engine and allegedly comes with sensors, inline fuel pump and all of the other components to install the 3FE engine into the 60. They require a credit card number before they will begin looking for an engine or doing any compression testing. Unfortunately, I trusted them and gave them the information. They sent me an email saying that they had an engine that was supposed to have 142,000 miles and compression between 170 at the highest and the lowest being 160. I thought this was a great find and was excited that I would have a fresh engine to put into the 60. I had my engine shipped to a mechanic who specializes in land cruisers and has been working on them for the past 45 years. He owns a 60 himself in which he rebuilt the engine. The mechanic did a compression test and leak down test of the engine and the numbers were no where close to what cruiserparts told me. The compression showed between 106 at the lowest piston and 115 at the highest. The mechanic installed a flywheel and used a new starter to perform the test. In addition he performed a leak down test which showed 35 to 40% exhaust valve leakage in 4 of the cylinders. Obviously, I was very upset by the news and promptly called cruiserparts to tell them I wanted to return the engine. They offered me a different engine in exchange but they had lost my trust and I did not want to go through the process of retesting an engine sent from them. I especially did not trust an engine rebuilt by them. I told them I would pay for the shipping and send it back if I could receive a credit for the engine. Craig from cruiserparts received the engine and sent me pictures of a compression test he performed saying that my mechanic did not know how to do a compression test. The numbers he sent me were between 140-150 between all pistons and he did not perform a leak down test. This test from him was 20 points off of the numbers he sent me when they tested the engine the first time which further indicated to me that they didn’t perform the compression test properly. They charged me for the shipping and an additional $1,200 for restocking! This restocking fee was charged in full for restocking the total purchase, and I only received the engine. I was very angry at this point and called them; although, they denied everything and said that they were going to apply the restocking fee regardless. I even told them I would pay for the shipping. So yes they are definitely scammers… Maybe some people get acceptable parts, but their strategy is to get money from you if you return the item regardless of its quality.

Maybe if you physically go there? The used part Inventory is absolutely astounding.
Here's a link -listed on the Caldwell Banker site.
After looking at these pics, I think they just need a good.... manager:doh:

That is what I do, and I have always gotten what I need, but I only live 30 miles away. I'm not making excuses, (more of an explanation), for the poor customer service (and I know that is sugar coated) but its a VERY small family operated business, the office is always a whirlwind of people yelling across each other, phones ringing incessantly, UPS picking up/dropping off, dogs running thru, Chinese food containers all over desks....you get the picture. Not Chick Fil-a!!! That said, for 3.5 million it's gunna be FS for a long time....

I would have gone up there but it is about 13 hours from me unfortunately… It is crazy how much inventory they have! If it only had a manager that was honest, it could be a good company.

I haven't had a "bad" experience from them like some mentioned here - they've always been very fast and communicative. But I did just buy a seat for my troopy. It was advertised as brand new take off from a converted rig - in the truck for delivery only, etc. What I got was the correct seat without a headrest (luckily I had one) and it was covered in red dust from, I assume, the Simpson Desert, and the box had 1/4" layer of chewed open nut shells from where the mice had been living. It was obviously at least a couple of years used. I don't care if it's a used seat, but at least say it is. And check the box for excess "packing materials" before you send it out. We don't need any red back spiders breeding in Tennessee.

All that valuable sheet metal, covered in snow and ice, rusting away. They should strip those rigs and have containers full of doors, hoods, roofs, etc. protected from the elements. Or you could just take peoples money and send them some iron rich topsoil in exchange.

Dude, I went from Jupiter Florida to Marlboro NH, (two towns south of CP) and love it, The 4 wheeling up here is epic, nothing close to it south of Jacksonville. But I do have to get close to the equator for a couple weeks mid winter.....

It’s a very nice summer get away from Florida that’s for sure!
