Need to order one today so if anyone has any guidance much appreciated.

For $50 more I would just buy the dealers they will get it to you quicker also. I’m a huge fan of cruiseryard @arcteryx.

The 98-02 Densos have been NLA for over 2 years, which is why we picked up the OE+. *New Toyota Land Cruiser 98-02 UZJ100 Denso Alternator 27060-50260/210-0565* - https://www.cruiseryard.com/new-toyota-land-cruiser-98-02-uzj100-denso-alternator-27060-50260-210-0565/

We’ve sold a decent amount of these and in the time we’ve carried them and have had only 1 warranty. It’s not Denso/OEM but the warranty makes up for that. It’s a good unit, if it wasn’t we wouldn't carry it. And we ship daily M-F.

For new, I'd probably go DC Power. New OE 80A and 130A are still available from the motherland but few are willing to pay $800-1200 for them.

The 130 amp Denso reman is available at Rock Auto. Part #2101099. Will need to swap out pigtails if you have 98-02.

I went with one from dealership for convenience . 300$ after the 80$ core refund. I wish I had known it didn’t need to be a Toyota alternator, because the one I had wasn’t even bad . If I knew their policy I would’ve brought some 15$ Amazon s*** in and rebuilt the old one… oh well, robbed 2x by Toyota today.😂😭

Make sure to:
Swap over the wire hanger bracket.
Main wire lug is keyed. Make sure to angle & seat properly.
Replace safety cap, on main wire lug/stud.

Tip:
Keep #1 skid and radiator drain round access port, in place. They protects alternator from water spray.

Somebody try buying this. There's a slim chance it is sitting on the shelf of some dealership. Brand new 2009 Tundra/Sequoia alternator for 2UZ-FE (Made in North America).
