What really makes you drool in the Cruiser world?

I think I would sell a kidney for this Cruiser if it were left hand drive.

A brand new WHITE 7X 4-door wagon with the 4.5 turbo diesel V8. It would be the last new vehicle I ever bought.

I don't know why I've never thought this before but the HZJ77 looks a lot like a late 80's Izuzu Trooper.

A new 79 series GXL cab chassis with long tray, factory snorkel, E lockers F&R, and a kickin' turbodiesel with 5 speed manual. Throw an ARB bumper with a 12k winch on it, I'll be set for the rest of my life!

ok after all this praise ill play devils advocate......it's a nice truck but I have to assume this would be a more expedition style rig for yall in the "dream" category because it couldn't do rocks well with that wheelbase?

having said that I am not a hard core rock crawler guy myself, despite owning a 40. I enjoy the "get there" aspect not the "how big of a mountain can I cross" aspect.

However if I could get fineWyns list factory that would pretty much seal the deal for an overlander vehicle!!!

Need I say it? arctic truck built 80

Arctic Trucks

Check out 1998 pics in expedition link

Their latest expedition uses crevasse detecting radar, before they used to just stick a huge stinger like bumper ( seen on the 80s) so they wouldn't fall completely in crevasse..

I just looked at the original link. When I noticed
price I thought I'm buying this truck and selling
all the others. Almost cried when noticed it was sold.

Believe it's for sale again from PA. I PM'd the current owner to see.

Willing to pull the trigger, Mike?

i know the seller and he sold it too cheap.

the 77 will be the new owners wifes DD.

i was shocked he sold it so cheap, damn nice ride.

I think mike is talking about the original truck in this thread... i could be wrong though, usually am.

I agree, that truck was cheap. One of these days I will get one of your trucks Crusher. I have some small Japanese trucks on the farm and RHD does not bug me that bad. I wish I had done a high fuel mileage Cruiser instead of this 100 series.

Here is Jeff's submission.

i have developed a fancy for a 75 series troopie now..
after working on this one i have an appreciation of the mamoth space in it. i can see what the Big 3 never let Toyota bring these into NA, it would have put a crunch in the Suburban / SUV sales.

cheers
