Next few bezel and radio bracket orders get a free included FJ80 Series hot-wheels included in their order. These free hot-wheels are given out 100% at my discretion. they are not guaranteed. I know i know! its not an FJ60 hot-wheels but I'll include them If I find them.

Also shipping will be delayed by a few weeks for a little bit. I'm in my busy season at school. If I have time I'll ship things out sooner, but most likely it will be later until I'm done.

Here it is installed. Used rustoleum satin black for the black and kinda wish I didn’t. It’s too glossy. Should have got SEM for that part too.

Holy smokes that looks clean. thanks for sharing your progress!

Thanks man! I was actually trying to get a buddy to make up a file in CAD for the part, but was way way off timewise and very happy i found your parts. Saved me a TON of time. The part fit up perfect first try with no modifications. Good s***! Next on the list is the Head unit bracket. Im pretty sure my garbage headunit is just literally sitting in the hole. Planning on doing a static single din 9 inch screen there by pioneer. Hoping I can get it to work with your bracket

Thanks Matt!!

So i actually went on a drive tonight and the two little green lights under the HVAC actually reflect lights onto the slider switch knobs now for the first time since ive owned the truck, so maybe the satin was a win? haha in the day light, i think a more matte color would look better but the functionality works with the semigloss!

Has there been any thought to retrofitting backlights into the stock 60 switches? They are hard to find in the dark. I'm not sure how that would be done - dremel out holes in the switch itself, or maybe let the light come out between the rocker and the bezel of the switch itself?

Obviously the defrost switch has a light when it's on - I'm talking about lights that are always on (green to match the rest of the lighting scheme maybe) so you can actually find the switches at night.

ok ..............

termonoligy here , not being snarky in any way to be klear please .....

Chase and i both have run into this Topic so that's why make this point now , anag again i value you reaching with a HYBRID alternitive oem mod question likeu have here

bad to the bone idea i have thought out a bit allready !

- ACTIVE ON Illumination switch types generally have 2 bulbs but not all the time

- Passive Illuminated Switches , they LIGHT up when u engage your parking lamps head lamps / both etc ,,,,,,

- passive generally have ONLY one bulb , but not all the time

- the fj60 defrost switch has 2

- the FJ62 defrost switch only 1 bulb ( Active Engagement ON )

- this is in a NUT shell how TOYOTA termed some various switches on the OLD SKOOL Microfiche

- however there are MANY Unique oem switches in LAND cruisers that break these rules , and most are NIN USA varity

- MANY also have the 2 BULBS type , passive illumination and the ACTIVE ON feature too

- what BLOWS is most of these UNICORN switches are NON-USA Goodies we did not or do not see much ?

- i will touch on this more later this evening when the SKUNK WORKS LAB slow down for the work day , we are buried in holidays ORDERS and WILL be pausing the ONLINE store for 48-72 hours to simply get caught up later tonight ,

so .........

if anyone needs a small NITCH item FAST now is the time , we WILL NOT re-open till ALL Current incoming orders are filled

then ................

LET THE HOLIDAYS GAMES BEGIN

there are TONS of new and exciting 60 / 51 / and 62 NITCH , unicorn , and NOS , and NON-USA items that will sudenly apear over the NEXT few days

check out our " RECENT Products and NEW Developments section here LINK :

CHASE and I have been busy in OUR MUTUAL shard Passions to bring some UNIQUE SMACK to the HOLIDAYS Teq Parts Table !

Dude ive got 6 hours into the rear heat switch. My plan was to cut out the little heat squiggly lines and letters, then put EL Lighting tape behind them. I gave up on it a long time ago. Its SOOOOOOOOOOOO much work just to even do one of the little bacon looking strips. Ive searched for similar sized switches from other vehicles and havent been able to find anything.

i DO have NON USA same SIZE spec various toyota japan oem switche s...........

I coulld make a bezel for 62 sized switches easily if needed
Im kind of kicking myself in the ass for not having you print the normal toyota size switches instead of the oem 60 series switches. SO MANY more options haha

not so fast , sassafras ........

below are FJ60 short and stubby size spec. Switch examples

some illuminate , some do NOT , if your unsure , please ask .............

fyi : the only DUMB question is the one NOT asked ....... 🤔

Those rocker type switches with the orange lit areas are really cool. Wish there was one with lighting for the rear wiper. those 3 fit the 60 dash?

Would it be possible to 3d print the outer fitment part around the switch in clear? You picking up what I'm putting down?

Yes and no. and maybe.
I just picked up a new type of 3D printer that prints SLA type or with an LCD screen. I can get a translucent type of resin and print with that. Thing is, is that the SLA Resin printer cures with UV light, meaning that any outdoor usage would result in a very crappy brittle piece. I could cast one out of acrylic maybe. Full custom switches.

So I could 3D print a clear switch, But it would fail. BUT I could make one out of acrylic.
