Claudia, was Levitation mode engaged at the time?

what'd you think :flipoff2:

my new specialty is lifting front tires on downhills  - I am sorry that 80s will forever be incapable of this trick :hillbilly:

After gorging at Zak's, Phil and I cruised out to skumrock, ended up helping Romer change a birf. I know there was a bet lost over this, no idea if goods or services changed hands?:hillbilly:

since Phil was doing good during the bet overtime, I never claimed the prize - unless you want to call his doing my birf wrenching the prize :hillbilly:

Great shot of the last step of Camelback, gives some idea of how steep it is.

What was the pressure like when wrenching at gunpoint?

Phil works well under pressure.:hillbilly: Actually the biggest protection that was needed was hip waders, a lot of BS was flowing. Major help in the BS department was provided by Woody, CDan, Slee, etc. The saying was: This would have been done much faster if you had less "help"!:hillbilly:

The biggest challenge for Phil was likely psychological. He usually takes ~3 weeks to do this job. Putting the parts back on with grains of debris still adhered, probably permanently scared him, may need psychological counseling?:hillbilly:

This one reminds me of an old SNL skit:

"Tell me Doctors, do you think we can save her? Well, Doctor, it looks like we have the correct parts to graft back on to the patient. But Doctor, I don't know if we have all of the required instruments. That's OK, Doctors, we can improvise in an emergency situation like this. Ain't no big deal, Doctors. I just did this same proceedure last night in the dark, with a beer in one hand and BS up to my armpits!!!

On Wednesday we met at skumrock for tech, registration and BS'ing, then headed to one of the Moab iconic trails, Hells Revenge.
