Great pics guys!! keep them coming us web wheelers need some stimulation :flipoff2:

lost a nut from the driver front shackle hanger on the side of the new shackle plate

also, shock on that side unthreaded, and bent  - likely after the rod was just hanging out in the wrong spot and hit the spring perch on a drop :frown:

the occurrence of both on the same day is simple coincidence - unrelated events, really :meh: not linked to stupid behavior or particular obstacle, either - other than that landing on a shock is more like while wheeling than on the road

at any rate, I got 5 years out of that shock; can't complain

oh yeah, and I had a blown marker light bulb :meh:

did I mention I wheeled shockless for two days :hillbilly:

I'm starting to wonder if we have any pix of the baby blue '40 with all four tires on the ground? :hhmm:

I'm less impressed with the tire flex of the ones on the ground, what was the air down pressure?

Thanks for the pics!

I hear rumor that the baby blue 40 broke some stuff this year.

Nothing big, noticed a broken shackle before we left, made a new one, failed to recheck the nut torque and one fell off.:o A mount end unscrewed on one of the Bilstein shocks, when it came apart the shaft got bent, so had to run a couple of trails without it, until a replacement could be procured.

Not that many 'wheeling pix this year, more landscape, here we go:

...that 3 pix per post is almost as slow as the trails...

Claudia in the rocks of Lockhart on Tuesday afternoon - tech inspection on Wednesday, and then Natural Arch up on Dome Plateau, and the view from Dome Plateau into Professor Valley. Blasted the dirt road all the way out to I-70.
