Nick - let @JToobe know if you really want some eyes on it. He's local to GVL and might be able to assist.
Update- I did contact this seller through their CL ad but did not hear back.

I also tried to buy this one but someone else (maybe 100 other people) also tried to buy it. One of them was successful.

I got mine today! Seems good quality. Charges my phone nicely.

There's still a $40 off code on the Rockpals site.

Got mine today, too. Heavier than I anticipated, weighing in at just about ten pounds.

I have not messed with it yet.

I also ended up ordering one of these solar generators. $40 off deal on this as well, brought the price down to $169.

It's kind of the equivalent to "while I'm in there..."

Funny how that goes. ;)

Amazon product ASIN B08GG9L2SL

This 👆 , and I also went down a youtube rabbit hole looking at solar generator reviews...

I did the same exact thing. Spent two hours yesterday weighing the benefits of different systems and eventually ended up buying several candles. The problem being that I want the 1,000 watt one and a refrigerator and solar panels. At that point I figured I’m out of budget. So candles and some butane for my gas stove is where I settled for power outage situations. Still have a good pure sine 350w inverter in the truck if needed.

For home use, this seems like the best bang for your buck-

I had one of those generators running at FC. Big cloud of smoke out the exhaust and it shut down with clunking noises. Haven‘t done a post mortem yet. Stay tuned.
Sounds like it needs 8.5oz of oil instead of the 10oz listed in the manual. This is why I don’t read manuals.
