M1 is the most fun weapon I have ever shot. I love the heavy feel, recoille, and the "PING" after round 8.

Sport shooting carpenter bees today.
Tons of fun.
Thomas's post gave me an idea. Would yall keep a lookout for a gun that has a lot of sentimental value for me:
1972 DU Remington 870. Specifically serial #404, which was stolen around 1985. My dad won the gun in my name just before I was born. Likely long gone but I thought I'd put it out there.

I got excited when I saw this:

then reread your post and realized it was made 10 years later than the one you are looking for.![]()
What's the make?
I have 2 AR-15 Post Ban 20" upper assemblies for sale. I just bought them, thinking they came with BCG and charging handle, but they didnt. I have $460 invested in each, and that is all I am asking for. The barrels are 1/9 twist, and they are fluted behind, and in front of the front sight, which is pretty nifty.

I've got 300 rounds of some Tula Ammo .223 Rem 55gr FMJ. This is Russian manufacture ammo with steel case not brass so if you are a reloader it probably is not for you. First $120 gets it delivered to the crawfish boil.
