Just for the authentic purists, straight fromJapan.... And not easy to get.

If there is enough interest I am happy to begin deliberations to bring in the real stuff:

These are basically your wheel bearing and birfield/trunnion/knuckle grease used at the factory.

These are the Japanese parts you can get from Toyota in Japan. 1gal jugs.

When @cruiserdan and I were in Japan in 2010, we used this same exact grease on the knuckle job we did for @mot (who was in Japan at the time and who has since moved to the US with his family).

Epic stuff.

Easily the best grease I have ever used in my life.

Especially if you're trying to carry 2 gallons of grease with you :)

Do you ever have the feeling that waiting in TSA lines is akin to the lines ready for us at the end of the world?

Just one big long miserable line as you wait to meet "the Maker"?

Welcome to my world ......

Looking for two parts for my 1965 Fj45 LPB...

1. Rubber boot around the steering column at the firewall,
2. The glovebox electrical plug for the trouble light.

Both may not be available any more but something close for other years or models may work. Thanks

Hey folks: I am in the office through 12/27 and will be doing orders.

Toyota is closed 12/25-12/27.

I leave for a family gathering in Maine on 12/28-01/04/16.

There are currently *significant* parts procurement delays especially for Japan parts currently due to the weather on the west coast, along with normal Xmas volume.

Thanks for your understanding.

FYI:

I will be taking orders and shipping tomorrow (12/24).

I am working on a 1FZ-FE, 12/25-12/26. I will be emailing and shipping as I have time.

I will be shipping on Monday, 12/28 but will not have email access as I travel up north.

I will be checking my email daily during the holidays and reply as quickly as I can and as I have access to my Toyota parts informational sources.

After the 28th, any parts ordered will not ship till 01/05/2016 when I return from visiting with my family. I will be taking orders 12/28-01/04.

Happy holidays to you and all of your families.... And of course, to your Land Cruisers. :)

Thats not even a choice unless the rubi has a suit case full of cash in the back!

Have fun in Maine. If you need any pointers on locating good beer let me know.

Have fun staring at the family. Not much winter around here now but looks like it may change this week. I will catch up in a few weeks for a timing belt project for the lx.

Enjoy the trip.

John
